Introduction of continuous casting process

Pour high-temperature molten steel into each ingot mold, but continuously pour the high-temperature molten steel into one or several ingot molds.

Forced water cooling in the copper mold (called the mold) with the "live bottom" (called the ingot head), the molten steel quickly condenses with the "live bottom", and after the molten steel has solidified into a billet of a certain thickness, the copper is removed from the mold. The lower end of the mold pulls out the "live bottom", so that the cast slab that has solidified to a certain thickness will be continuously pulled out of the water-cooled crystallizer, and the secondary cooling zone will continue to spray water for cooling. The casting billet with the liquid core solidifies while walking until it is completely solidified. After the cast billet is completely solidified, the cast billet is cut into a certain size steel billet with an oxygen cutting machine or a shearing machine. This new process of pouring high-temperature molten steel directly into steel billets is called continuous steel casting.
