1. Mold inspection:

1.1 Accept the mold and ask the reason why the mold went offline.

1.2 Put the copper mold tube on the maintenance table smoothly and fix it reliably, and clean up the cold steel, sand, dirt, etc. on the shell.

1.3 Carefully check the mold, and stop using the copper tube when one of the following conditions occurs:

1.3.1 Concave and convex defects of inner wall>0.5mm;

1.3.2 The molten steel surface area is damaged or the depth of scratches is >0.5mm (if the scratches are<0.5mm, it is allowed to use whetstone or emery to grind the sharp edges or smooth concave surfaces, and it can continue to be used);

1.3.3 The depth of the lower scratch is greater than 1mm (<1mm can continue to be used);

1.3.4 The size of the lower mouth becomes larger, and the reverse taper is less than 0.3%/m;

1.3.5 The diamond deformation of the section, the diagonal difference is > 1.5mm.

2. The replacement steps of the copper mold tube:

2.1 Loosen the bolts between the lubricating plate, the upper sealing flange and the housing.

2.2 Remove the top plate and lubricating plate (note: do not damage the O-ring inside).

2.3 Rotate the maintenance bench by 90-180° and loosen the bolts between the lower bottom plate (or lower sealing flange) and the housing.

2.3.1 Remove the copper tube and key board from the water jacket;

2.3.2 Move out the key board to the left and right sides;

2.3.3 Slowly take out the copper tube.

2.4 Clean the joint surface related to the copper tube of the copper mold tube to remove oil, scale and other debris (if there is scale, it must be cleaned with a steel brush before it can be used, and the relevant departments should be notified to improve the cooling water quality).
